Terms of service

1. Consultations & Quotes

  • Initial consultations are free unless stated otherwise.

  • All quotes are valid for 60 days from the date of issue.

  • Final pricing may change if the project scope is altered by the client after the quote is accepted.

2. Deposits & Payments

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure any project booking or material purchase.

  • The remaining 50% balance is due upon project completion.

  • Custom work will not begin until the deposit is received.

  • Payments can be made via Cash or Direct deposit.

3. Custom Work Terms

  • Due to the nature of custom epoxy work, no two finishes will be identical. Variations in color, pattern, and texture are normal and expected.

  • Clients will have the opportunity to approve sample colors/finishes prior to final execution when applicable.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Deposits are non-refundable once materials are purchased or work has begun.

  • Cancellations must be made in writing within 24 hours of deposit to be eligible for partial refund.

  • Refunds are not offered for custom tables or completed flooring installations unless the product is proven to be defective.

5. Epoxy Floor Installation Terms

  • Clients must ensure the work area is clean, dry, and accessible at the agreed start date.

  • Exotic Resin is not responsible for delays caused by site inaccessibility, moisture issues, or pre-existing floor damage.

  • A post-installation curing period (typically 3–7 days) is required before heavy foot traffic or placing furniture.

6. Table Fabrication & Delivery

  • Lead time for custom tables is typically 3–6 weeks, depending on design complexity and order volume.

  • Clients will receive progress updates before delivery.

  • Delivery is available at an additional cost.

7. Warranty & Maintenance

  • Exotic Resin offers a 7 year warranty on all floors, covering defects such as peeling, discolouration and cracks.

  • Damage caused by misuse or environmental factors (e.g., flooding, very high heat exposure) is not covered.

  • Maintenance instructions will be provided after installation or delivery.

  • The Client acknowledges that metallic epoxy flooring is a decorative finish that naturally includes variations in color, pattern, and texture. Minor cosmetic imperfections may occur during installation, and the Client agrees that up to 10% surface imperfections are normal and will not be considered defects.

8. Liability Limitation

  • Exotic Resin is not liable for indirect or consequential damages including loss of use, income, or property damage beyond the value of the original service.

  • Clients are responsible for securing valuables and breakables during installation projects.

9. Intellectual Property

All design concepts, sample photos, and finished product images created by Exotic Resin may be used for promotional or portfolio purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

10. Privacy Policy

Client information is kept confidential and used solely for communication and order fulfillment. Exotic Resin does not sell or share customer data.
